Founder
Ace Legal was founded by Bas Kruijt, a seasoned M&A/PE/VC specialist with deep experience in (cross-border) transactions across a wide range of sectors. After working at two leading Amsterdam law firms, where he worked on complex domestic and international transactions. He then pursuit his career as in-house as legal counsel for a major real estate investor (AUM €15B+), and later building legal departments for several companies. In addition to his legal background, Bas brings practical entrepreneurial experience, giving him a unique understanding of the commercial pressures and dynamics behind every deal.
Having operated on all sides of the table, Bas understands each stakeholder’s perspective. This allows him to act as a true strategic partner.
His pragmatic, no-nonsense approach is paired with creativity, dedication, and genuine curiosity about your business, ensuring an efficient and effective working relationship.
